Devastated Scots mum loses third son in four years as man dies in his sleep
dailyrecord.co.ukA Scots mum has been left devastated after she lost her third son in just four years. Andrew Montgomery, 26, died in his sleep in the supported accommodation where he stayed with his mum Mairlyn Wright.
Andrew was his mum's primary carer.Doctors believe that he may have passed away due to a previously undiagnosed condition, reports Glasgow Live.
The 60-year-old mum raised the alarm after she woke up on January 11 after noticing that her son, from Dennistoun in Glasgow, had gone extremely cold.Andrew's niece, 24-year-old Courtney Montgomery, said the last four years have been trying for the family, especially for her gran who has now had to bury her three sons: Alan, Steven and Andrew.Student Courtney's dad, Alan, passed away due to organ failure at the age of 40 in 2019.
Sadly, only eight weeks later, Courtney's mum died.Her uncle, Steven Wilson, lost his life the following year, aged just 20.The most recent passing has left the family reeling.
