If you’re down the sort of mosh pit end of the thing and it’s all going on, it’s probably great. The best moment for me was when the live band played a song [‘Does Your Mother Know’] on their own.”When asked if a Pink Floyd hologram show would ever be a possibility, he answered: “If someone came up with all the money and all the brilliant ideas – and then once we’ve agreed to a series of very, very difficult and onerous conditions – I’d say, ‘Yeah, OK.’”Meanwhile, a KISS hologram show is on the way.
Earlier this month, their catalogue, brand name and IP were acquired by the Swedish entertainment and music investment firm Pophouse, who were involved in putting together the Voyage show.
Simmons confirmed that the band’s virtual avatars will “get better”, and revealed that “about 200 million” dollars was being invested in the technology.
