Bijou Phillips, the wife of Danny Masterson, has filed for divorce, less than a month after the actor was sentenced to '30 years to life' in prison for two counts of rape.

According to Us Weekly, the 43 year old actress, who shares a nine year old daughter named Fianna with Former That '70s Show star Danny, filed for divorce on Monday, 18 September.

In a statement made to TMZ on Tuesday, 19 September, Bijou's attorney Lauzon Paluch said: “Ms Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time.

Her priority remains with her daughter. “This period has been unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family. Mr Masterson was always present for Ms Phillips during her most difficult times of her life.
