Dad who put cooker on top of himself and threatened to 'blow the place up' placed under supervision

A dad who sparked fears of a gas blast at his Coatbridge home has been placed under supervision and tagged for three months.Police raced to Thomas Gibb's house and found him lying on the kitchen floor with the cooker on top of him and the gas turned on.Airdrie Sheriff Court heard that neighbours were evacuated amid fears of an explosion in Cuparhead Avenue.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
