Officers searched for Clifford following the deaths of three women at a home in Hertfordshire.He was tracked down near a cemetery in north London and taken to a major trauma unit, where he remains detained by the police and being treated for his injuries.Carol Hunt, 61, and her two daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, were found fatally injured at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday evening.
It is understood they were discovered by BBC 5 Live commentator John Hunt, Carol's husband and Hannah and Louise's father.Although all three were alive when emergency services arrived at the property, they were all pronounced dead at the scene.Since Clifford was announced a suspect, with police warning he may have had a crossbow in his possession, more information about his life, including his past employment has been revealed, reports the Mirror.Previously, Clifford worked as a security guard and British Army soldier.
One firm has now issued a statement confirming that he was employed with them for just five months last year.Fire and security installation firm Amthal, which is based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, said today that Clifford was briefly employed with the company.
