Staff at East Renfrewshire's high schools have been doing their bit for frontline health workers and those caring in the community during the coronavirus pandemic.
The design and technology teachers at Mearns Castle High School, which is in the catchment for Eaglesham and Waterfoot, have been busy along with colleagues from others schools making protective visors.
Barrhead, Eastwood and St Luke's High have also been involved.Tina Oman, a design and technology teacher at Barrhead High, said: “School staff were approached by the council as there had been some national issues with ensuring frontline health staff had the correct protective equipment to wear whilst carrying out their duties."Thanks to the financial support of our Parent
