The beloved pub, the watering hole for many of the street's most famous residents, has been involved in a bit of a rollercoaster ride of late after Jenny Connor was forced to sell as the cost of living crisis bit.
During Tuesday night's episode of the ITV soap (September 26), viewers saw Waterford's manager arrive to break the news that they’re closing the Rovers for an extensive refurbishment and that their contracts have been terminated with immediate effect Jenny and the staff are thrown into a spin.
