Landing a role on Coronation Street was a dream come true for Claire Sweeney - but she’s still looking for love.The actress - who appears on screen as Tyrone Dobbs’ addict mum Cassandra Plummer on Wednesday June 28th - has tried dating apps including A-list matching system Raya.

Currently Claire’s single – she split from Jaxon’s dad in 2015 – but she’s feeling fulfilled by her family, friends and career. “I’m open to dating but at the moment I’m so busy with Jaxon and Corrie and everything else,” smiles Claire. “If I met someone amazing then that would be lovely but it’s out of my hands.” Lots of celebrities slip into each other’s DMs or direct messages on exclusive dating apps like Raya, but Claire has decided that swiping isn’t right for her.
