Steve McDonald could be set to have his heartbroken as his wife Tracy cheats on him - with his footballing hero. Coronation Street fans may remember that Tracy came across Tommy Orpington at Christmas when the big day became to much at the Barlows.

Tracy was unimpressed to realise she was cooking for ten at the Barlows on Christmas Day, and a joke about relationship gap years caused some friction between her and her husband Steve.

Popping over to the flower shop to find a bottle of wine, Tracy found herself serving Tommy who has seized the opportunity to get a last-minute gift for his mum.

He ended up passing Tracy one of his cards for his new business as a painter and decorator, with Tracy unaware of how his is really known.
