The two women haven't been each other's biggest fans ever since Bethany returned to the street after three years away. Bethany, played by Lucy Fallon, was then seen back on-screen on the ITV soap on New Year's Eve when she quickly reunited with former flame Daniel Osbourne before surprising her mum Sarah Barlow with her return to Weatherfield from London where she'd gone to forge a career in journalism.
But she quickly found herself in a bit of a love triangle as while Daniel called off his engagement to Daisy after discovering she cheated on him with Ryan Connor, Daisy was still holding a torch for her ex and was taken aback when she discovered they had already slept together and were rekindling their former romance moments after she returned to Weatherfield. READ MORE: Coronation Street exit confirmation leads to tears as character's last scenes have already aired READ MORE: Read more of our Coronation Street stories here The pair continued to snipe at one another ever since but feathers were ruffled when it was revealed Bethany had written a story for Chit Chat magazine about her stalker Justin Rutherford which resulted in a horrifying acid attack before Daisy found comfort in Ryan who took to bulk of the burning liquid leading to life-changing scars.
They've since settled into daggers across the Rovers Return bar and the smallest of small talk, however, during Monday night's Corrie (April 1), they appeared to agree to put their differences aside.
