If you’ve been struggling to hide dark under eye circles with your regular concealer, Glow Up judge and MAC’s Global Senior Artist Dominic Skinner may have the answer to your beauty conundrum.
In an Instagram Reel, the pro MUA demonstrated a handy hack for perfectly disguising the appearance of dark circles by dotting two different shades of concealer across his under eye area.
Dom used two shades of MAC Studio Fix 24 Hour Smooth Wear Concealer, £19.50 here, in the shades NW28 and NW35 before blending out with a fluffy brush, MAC’s 217S Blending Brush, £21 here.
The idea is that a warmer shade will help to counter any cool grey tones. “Adding a little of a deeper shade in with your skin tone shade makes a richer colour that neutralises the dark circle while harmonising with your actual skin tone,” he wrote in the caption. “So if you find going light leaves you still looking grey and ashy, then try this!” Naturally several of Dom’s 531k followers were wowed by the hack and took to the comments section of the post to share their delight.
