Lateysha Grace, who rose to fame after appearing on reality shows The Valleys and Celebrity Big Brother, has declared herself a 'chav' while recalling being 'born and raised on a council estate'.
The TV personality, 31, took to Instagram this week after meeting a follower in real life, sharing the experience on her Stories while giving some insight into her upbringing.
Recalling that the fan had praised her for being 'ghetto', Lateysha corrected that she was 'more of a chav', writing: "I've always been a chav and have never forgotten my roots." She continued: "One thing about me is I can't ever pretend to be someone I'm not.
I won't change who I am or the way I talk dress etc to fit in around certain people. When you're real and authentic and true to yourself you'll go much further in life than someone who pretends." Lateysha, who has just returned from a celeb-filled trip to Ibiza with fashion brand SHEIN alongside stars such as Kady McDermott and Georgia Harrison, also made a dig at other stars in the industry.The reality star wrote: "There's A LOT of people in this industry who are like that though.
