Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress.
Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. Cash grant will fund family friendly cycling event in Ayrshire

dailyrecord.co.ukSouth Ayrshire Council has been awarded £10,000 to help arrange a family friendly cycling event later this year in Ayr.The local authority successfully applied for the funding to Cycling Scotland, who have announced that the area is one of four to receive cash.A council spokesperson said: “We have been granted £10,000 by Cycling Scotland to run an event called Pedal Ayr.“The event will hopefully take place this summer (restrictions permitting).“The aim of the event is to encourage more people to get on their bikes more often.”Other organisations who successfully applied were as follows: Banffshire Cycle Challenge, in Banff, by Rotary Club of Banff; The KPT Celebration of Cycling in Dumfriesshire by The Keir, Penpont and Tynron Development.
