BREAKING: Man charged with murder of 21-year-old in Rochdale

A man has been charged with murdering a man in Rochdale. Liam Richardson, 21, was tragically found dead at a house on Industry Road in the early hours of Monday morning (October 3).

Police were called to the scene after reports of a 'disturbance'. Today, GMP have charged Keiron Oldham with murder. The 36-year-old has also been charged with two counts of false imprisonment and affray.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Manchester Crown Court tomorrow. One friend said: "He was a lovely, kind and generous person, really one-of-a-kind. He was so funny, yet infuriatingly annoying but that is why we loved him." "He had become such a good and unique young man who cared for the ones he loved, he loved his son more than anything.
