STV's entertainment reporter Laura Boyd has been crowned Influencer of The Year for 2022/2023. The Scottish Influencer Awards took place at a red carpet bash inside Glasgow 's Radisson Red hotel on the banks of the River Clyde on Sunday afternoon.
Scots Instagram queen, Emily Shak was also a winner, becoming the country's first ever Superinfluencer. In a post on Twitter, Laura said: "Erm, I’ve just won Scottish Influencer of the Year @SCOTINFLUENCER"Beyond overwhelmed and thrilled.
I would never consider myself an influencer but if my story of cancer or surrogacy influences or helps anyone, then it’s all worthwhile." Laura's pal and broadcast journalist Gerry Cassidy tweeted a picture of them together at the ceremony, with the caption: "Couldn’t.
