Brawl breaks out in the street before man rushed to hospital after being tended to by horrified passers-by
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA man was taken to hospital following a brawl in the street in Stockport. Police were called to Stockport Road, Cheadle, just after 9.30pm last night (Friday).
Witnesses said a fight broke out before a man was seen lying in the road. Passers-by tended to the man as paramedics and police were called.

Another man suffered minor injuries. That man was arrested, before being de-arrested a short time later, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said. "Police were called around 9.35pm on Saturday, January 29, to a report of a fight on Stockport Road, Cheadle," a force statement read. "Emergency services attended and a man in his 30s was treated for injuries at the scene before being taken to hospital. "His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. "A man was arrested at the scene, but following enquiries was later de-arrested.
