FORMER X Factor stars Brian and Craig McDonald look unrecognisable 16 years on from their musical debut. The brothers competed in the ITV show as the pop rock group called The MacDonald Brothers, and they now also go by The Macs.
The Scottish duo from rose to fame after auditioning for the popular TV talent show back in 2006 in it's third UK series. Blowing away judges Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh with their folk version of The Beach Boys song Don't Worry Baby, they got three 'yes' votes in their audition.
Making through each next stage, the boys were mentored and coached by Louis. The MacDonald Brothers finished the competition on fourth place, with Leona Lewis going on to win the top spot.
Since their time on the show, the brothers went on to release four studio albums, starting off with their debut called The MacDonald Brothers in April 2007.
