A brave Scots dad chased thieves down the street after his "pride and joy" motorbike was stolen by three men wearing balaclavas.Police are now probing the theft, but neither the three suspects or the bike have been traced.

The incident took place around 8pm in Goose Place, Musselburgh. Ty McDonald, 23, said his motorbike is one of the most important things in his life, and he and partner Hollie are determined to get the vehicle back, he told Edinburgh Live.

He said: "I came to see my partner at her house in Musselburgh, and took my bike over. We went to the shop, came home and sat down - and all of a sudden I heard people outside and then motorbike sounds.

I ran downstairs and by the time I got there they were away with it."I ran after them for a bit but they got away. There were three of them wearing balaclavas, two on bikes, and they headed towards North High Street.
