Body pulled from Scots canal as emergency services remain on scene

Falkirk.Emergency services raced to Symington Drive, Camelon on Friday after the alarm was raised around 2.40pm. A number of emergency crews are at the scene, including a water rescue unit and specialist paramedics.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 2.40pm on Friday, July 2."We are currently in attendance at the Forth and Clyde Canal in Falkirk following the discovery of a body within the water."Emergency services remain at the scene."We'll be bringing you the very latest updates, pictures and video on this breaking news story.
