Kjellmann are virtually pitching the series to potential partners, financers and broadcasters.Development on the project is already well underway, with four finished scripts and outlines for the show’s other four episodes already banked.“We are currently continuing the writing process, while working on the financing and production set-up for the series,” the partners explained to Variety before pitching in Berlin.

Yossman BBC drama “Peaky Blinders” has set a premiere date for its sixth and final season.The show, led by Cillian Murphy, will return on Feb. 27.Murphy plays Tommy Shelby in the hit series.BBC revealed the news with an enormous mural painted on the side of a wall in Birmingham of Murphy’s face, which was tweeted with the caption: “The Shelbys are back in business.”The mural was created by by street artist Akse.

Calls have been made for transparency about the spiralling costs of high-profile Manchester projects, including the delayed and increasingly expensive Factory arts complex.Councillors are seeking an independent review of the council’s capital programme, which is reporting 'concerning' overspends across several schemes.An audit of the proposed projects was planned within the last year, but was cancelled as they were deemed ‘low risk’, a meeting heard.There are also concerns the original budgets for these projects are being withheld from scrutiny committees, despite repeated requests for the information.Fewer projects will be delivered within the financial year and what work is being done is costing more due to the economic fallout caused by

Grindstone Entertainment has picked up the North American rights to The Gardener, which stars Gary Daniels and Robert Bronzi. The action thriller, written by Ben Demaree and based on a story by Jeff Miller (The Toy Box), stars Bronzi (Death Kiss) as an immigrant living a quiet life as a gardener at an English manor house and resorting to old skills to save the family he works for from violent home invaders led by a ruthless crime boss, played by Daniels.
