The Traitors has been the surprise smash hit show of the end of 2022 and had viewers on the edge of their seats for weeks. And tonight fans will finally get to watch the last three "faithfuls" finally learn the identity of the two remaining "traitors" as the final five contestants battle it out for the remaining £82,000 still in the cash pot.

An Edinburgh call centre worker is in with a chance of winning, as contestant Meryl Williams joins fellow faithfuls Hannah Byczkowski and Aaron Evans in the final, facing off against traitors Wilfred Webster and Kieran Tompsett.Fans have been gripped since the show launched in late November when 22 strangers entered Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands with the hope of winning up to £120,000 in prize money.Among their group, three of the contestants soon became secret 'traitors' after a squeeze on the shoulder from host Claudia Winkleman ,and they now had the power to eliminate their fellow competitors, referred to as the 'faithfuls'.The tactical series has been compared to a mix of Lord of the Flies, I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here and a complex murder mystery weekend all rolled into one and at first glance it perhaps didn't sound like a recipe for reality TV success.

But viewers have taken to the format, based on Dutch show De Verraders, in their droves and a second series is already on the cards.
