The new series, which marks the national's favourite dance show's 20th year on air, officially kicked off on Saturday night (September 14) with the pre-recorded launch show.
The episode saw Strictly welcome back hosts, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman to the iconic ballroom along with the show's knowledgeable judges, Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke. There was also a celebratory welcome back dance to mark Amy Dowden's momentous return to the ballroom as well as a fiery and passionate Paso Doble performed by the reigning champions from 2023, Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola.
