BBC Gladiators fans unimpressed with show re-boot as they say its 'lacking' one thing

Gladiators made a return to the small screen on Saturday night 32 years on from its debut as the BBC launched a brand new batch up power hungry and determined team to take on contestants trying to battle it out.

The programme was a huge hit in the 90s with those taking part including the likes of Wolf (Michael Van Wijk), Hunter (James Crossley) as well as Jet (Diane Youdale) and Lightning (Kim Betts), as viewers got introduced to the new Gladiator's tonight.However, according to reports in the Mirror, many fans were left unimpressed as they took to social media following the launch episode and all had the same complaint about hosts Bradley Walsh and his son Barney Walsh.
