BBC BREAKFAST'S Carol Kirkwood was left red-faced as her co-star Naga Munchetty couldn't resist taking a swipe at her age. Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt presented BBC Breakfast on Thursday while Carol Kirkwood delivered the latest weather reports.
During the episode, the BBC presenter made a cheeky dig at Carol Kirkwood as she and Charlie Stayt announced the news of the first coins bearing King Charles' image.
Introducing the topic on the show, Naga said: “The first 50 pence coins bearing the image of King Charles are going to enter circulation today.” Charlie continued: “Five million are being distributed to post offices and will be given out to customers.
The BBC host explained that the sculptor Martin Jennings used pictures of King Charles on his 70th birthday to make the new image, before adding it was his "smallest piece of artwork" to date.
