The BBC is apologizing to Amanda Abbington. The 50-year-old Sherlock actress received the apology after claiming she was bullied by her Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice during the show last year.
After a months-long investigation, a ruling was announced on Monday (September 30). In a statement, via Deadline, the BBC said: “We have assessed the complaints and we have upheld some, but not all, of the complaints made.
We want to apologize to Amanda Abbington and to thank her for coming forward and taking part.
