Bernard O'Byrne, posted a Facebook message containing the phrase "Black Dives Matter" in the aftermath of England's 2-1 semi-final victory over Denmark.
During the match, Sterling was awarded a penalty in extra-time for a foul by Joakim Maehle, which led to Harry Kane scoring the decisive goal on the rebound from his own penalty.
The Manchester City star faced some criticism after the match with some pundits and fans believing that it was a harsh decision against Denmark.
