The mother of 'Baby P' has been recalled to prison after breaching licence conditions, according to reports emerging today. Tracey Connelly, now 42, was convicted of causing or allowing the death of her son and jailed in 2009, two years after he was discovered badly injured at her home in Tottenham, north London.

She was released from prison in July 2022. More than 20 licence conditions were imposed as a condition of her release, which included living at a specified address, wearing an electronic tag, adhering to a curfew and having to disclose her relationships. The tot, who became known as Baby P and later Peter, suffered months of torture at the hands of his own mother, her partner Steven Barker and his brother Jason Owen before he died in 2007.

Tracey had allowed her son to be tortured to death by her boyfriend, and an inquiry found he suffered more than 50 injuries, reports The Mirror.
