B&M lorry wrecked after crashing into Scots bridge as carnage shown in shock snaps

A B&M lorry has been badly damaged after ploughing into a railway bridge in Perth. The vehicle’s back and sides were ripped apart after it collided with the low bridge above Tay Street at around 3.50pm on Sunday.

Pictures taken at the scene show the damage caused by the impact, and the contents of the lorry were left exposed with some lying on the road.

Elaine Blair, who took the photographs, said on Twitter: "The shelves at B&M Perth might be a little empty next week.
