Audrina Patridge Says She Was 'A Little Bummed' to Hear About MTV's 'The Hills' Reboot

Audrina Patridge is sharing her honest thoughts about The Hills reboot. MTV announced in May that they would be creating a spinoff, The Hills: Next Gen, after cancelling New Beginnings this January. News. “We were all kind of shocked.” The 37-year-old reality star shared that she was interested to see how the show was handled as the new cast will feature 20 twenty-somethings, a substantial increase from New Beginnings‘ cast of 14.

She explained that it might be “really hard” filming all of their lives since there were so many people. “I don’t know how they’re going to do that,” Audrina said.

She went on to say that while she’s “little bummed” that the show would be coming back without the original cast members, “There’s no way I can’t [watch].” Audrina added that it would be fun to watch the new cast members “cause they’re going to be carefree and wild,” noting that as they got older, she and her castmates became more reserved. “As you get older you have more responsibilities and you care about your image,” she said. “I feel like we ran our course,” she added. “We didn’t really have too much more drama to give.” Find out what Lauren Conrad had to say about The Hills: New Beginnings.
