One which will have stuck in many people's minds is the Athena 'tennis girl' posters, which were launched in 1976. The poster showed a female tennis player walking on the court in a white mini dress.

She could be seen with her back to the camera, holding a racket in one hand while her other hand lifted up her skirt. The cheeky shot quickly became iconic in the 70s and is one of the world's best-selling posters. Two million copies were sold worldwide by retail chain Athena.

The photograph was taken by young photographer Martin Elliott at the now defunct Birmingham University courts at Edgbaston in September 1976.The woman in the snap was Martin's then-girlfriend Fiona Walker, who was 18 years old at the time.
