Arsenal defender Ben White has revealed he ignored Manchester City's victory over Liverpool on Saturday because he doesn't watch football.

Pep Guardiola's side put the pressure on the Gunners with a convincing 4-1 win over Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium. The reigning champions temporarily closed the gap on the London outfit to five points, but with Mikel Arteta's side playing later in the day, the current league-leaders were able to regain their eight-point advantage.

City went 1-0 down after Mohamed Salah put Liverpool in front in the 17th minute, but Julian Alvarez - who played in place of the injured Erling Haaland - levelled proceedings in the 27th minute.

The Blues dominated the second period and scored three times to make it 4-1 thanks to goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Jack Grealish.
