"Are you joking?": Girlfriend horrified over partner's spelling of holiday destination in Google search

A girlfriend was left in disbelief over her partner's spelling of Lanzarote in a Google search - after he searched for holidays in 'lands of roti'.

Alisha Gibson was out for lunch with her boyfriend Scott Clarkson when the pair were brainstorming where to go on holiday together.

The Canary Island of Lanzarote sprung to mind. Alisha, 23, went to grab their food and left mechanic Scott to his own devices on her phone, but when she returned discovered he'd typed 'lands of roti holidays' in the search engine.

The car company service advisor initially thought that he must have been pulling her leg but he admitted he was unsure how to spell the destination so 'sounded it out'.
