Tickets to see Arctic Monkeys in Manchester have surged to as much as £300 each - just days after a mammoth 80,000 people joined the online queue to try and secure their place at the much anticipated concert.
The band's 2023 tour will kick off at Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol, on May 29 before they head to Coventry and then perform two huge sell-out shows at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on June 2 and 3.
Tickets initially went on sale on Friday (September 30), with an enormous 80,000 fans rushing to Ticketmaster and Seetickets to wait in the online queue to try and nab their seats.
General release tickets went up for sale for between £52 and £99. READ MORE Stories from Manchester's backstreet boozers, historic alehouses and Victorian venues Ticketmaster tweeted the queueing fans to encourage them to "be patient and don’t refresh or you’ll lose your place." And despite the desperate efforts, many were left disappointed and opted to try and source resale tickets instead.
