Amanda Holden has addressed the real reason rules were broken during the upcoming series of Britain's Got Talent - and it was actually allowed.
The ITV programme will return for its 17th series in a double weekend extravaganza on Saturday (April 20) and Sunday (April 21).
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly will be back as hosts while Amanda Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, who joined in 2023 replacing comedian David Walliams, will be back on the panel hoping to find an exceptional talent to win £250,000 and a place at the next Royal Variety Performance.
In the upcoming series, the golden buzzer, which sends contestants straight to the semi-finals, will be used nine times, despite the fact there has previously been a limit to one judge each.
