Alison Hammond is the bubbly This Morning Friday presenter who has earned a place in the nation’s hearts. She’s been frank about her struggles with being overweight, and has spoken about receiving abuse from online trolls about it.
Alison opened up to Lorraine Kelly and her daughter Rosie Smith on the What If? podcast on her outlook on life, admitting that she may “die a little bit sooner” but is “living life to the fullest”.
She said: "They do say television puts on a bit of weight though, doesn't it? Sometimes I look at myself and go, 'Wow, I am a big girl.' But I like taking up a bit of space, I'm OK with it. "I take a little bit of extra space in the world and I don't think I'm hurting anyone.
