Aldi's budget lagers reviewed - are they a match for big brands?

With parts of the UK set to enjoy a mini-heatwave, some members of the Liverpool ECHO team decided to taste-test a range of Aldi lagers, all priced under £2 per bottle.
Each reviewer was tasked with comparing an Aldi lager to similar well-known brands, such as San Miguel, Peroni, Birra Moretti and Madri. Let's be clear, I'm a big fan of Aldi and its selection of cheaper alternatives to brand-name products. However, I'm not so keen on imitation lagers.
