An Albion Rovers' fan fundraiser is aiming to keep the Coatbridge club alive during the SPFL shut down. Ahead of lockdown last night, the Rovers' Supporters Trust backed the gesture from the kind-hearted diehard "to help alleviate the financial strain on our beloved Albion Rovers during this difficult and uncertain time".With a £5000 target in mind for the JustGiving page, the Cliftonhill fan group have pledged to raise cash for the League Two outfit.Former chairman and Supporters Trust member Ronnie Boyd believes it is vital that the club survives for the town."These are difficult times for the football club; for every football club in Scotland," said Boyd."It would really make a difference to the club at this time if people were able to
