A family from a paradise island 9,000 miles away are to return home after a U-turn by airline chiefs.Grandfather Amosa Soani, 60, his son Tumau Amosa, 31, and eight-year-old Vatau Fakavae could touch down in their home country of Tuvalu in time for Christmas after more than a year grounded in the Ayrshire village of Stair due to the coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc on air travel.Ayrshire Live first told how the family were left stranded a long way from home since in May 2020 when they were due to return and stayed with Ayrshire relatives, Amosa's sister Nafiata and her husband Neil McNaughton.They are now set to leave from Glasgow this Saturday (December 4) on a three leg journey stopping at Hong Kong and then Fiji where they hope to
