Airdrie boss challenges his side to show consistency and go on a run

Rhys McCabe has told his Airdrie side to go on a consistent run after bagging back-to-back league wins for only the second time this season.Saturday’s 1-0 win at Clyde, courtesy of Lewis Jamieson’s strike after his penalty had been saved by Neil Parry, came seven days after a 4-0 win over Montrose.And player-boss McCabe has challenged his side to keep that run going when they host Peterhead in League One this weekend.He said: “There are loads of positives, in terms of where we’ve been as a team maybe four or five weeks ago, to where we are now.“There has been lots of improvement and lots to build on.“It was all right getting a win against Montrose last week but unless you back that up it means nothing.“That has been our problem so far this season – getting a run of consistency.
