2 spot, with earnings of $4.4 million. The gothic supernatural horror, which opened on Sept. 8, took in $88 million worldwide during its opening weekend.Spy thriller “The Equalizer 3” remained in third place, with a $2.1 million take.
The flick — whose budget was estimated to be around $70 million — surpassed $100 million at the worldwide box office in its second weekend in theaters, Screenrant reported. “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3,” which was in second place last week, landed in fourth with sales of nearly $1.4 million.
