BACCARA and "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie" singer Maria Mendiola has died aged 69. A post on the band’s official Instagram confirmed her death today calling her “a wonderful artist”.
Fans were left heartbroken by the news and many paid tribute to the artist. One said: “RIP beautiful lady.” Another wrote: “Rest in peace Maria dear.
You’ll never be forgotten.” One more person wrote: “”We will always remember you, you beautiful soul.” And another said: “Rest in peace Maria.” The song Yes Sir, I Can Boogie was adopted by the Tartan Army as the Scotland National team progressed into Euro 2020 back in the summer.
