Manchester United’s clash away at Liverpool later this month will be rearranged after Jurgen Klopp’s side progressed in the FA Cup.
United had been scheduled to visit Anfield on Sunday, March 20 as they continue their battle for the top four, with the hosts looking to chase down Manchester City in the title race.
The outing would have been part of a tough run of fixtures for United, with games against City, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid all pencilled in.
However, with Liverpool beating Norwich 2-1 in their fifth-round tie on Wednesday night, the match has now been postponed. Takumi Minamino’s double ensured the Reds’ hopes of a quadruple remain intact following their Carabao Cup triumph at the weekend.
