A woman prayed on Scots pensioners by 'pretending to be from the church' before breaking in.Police have launched a probe into a pair of incidents in Perth in which the callous crook tricked her way into OAP's homes, offering a bottle of wine as a gift.

The two linked incidents happened in the Craigie area of the city between 4-5pm on Thursday, December 30.On the first occasion, the woman tricked her way into an elderly couple’s home in Darnhall Drive before the householders became suspicious and made her leave before she could steal anything.On the second occasion, a short time later, the same woman managed to trick her way into an elderly woman’s home using the same tactic.
