Daylight hours will soon get longer as we switch to British Summer Time. The clocks always change on the last weekend of March each year in the UK so this year, that falls on Sunday, March 31.
At 1am, the clocks bounce forward by one hour . You lose an hour in bed, but you get more daylight in the evening. You'll need to remember to change the clocks in your house. As long as your phone is connected to the internet via 4G or WiFi then the time will change on them automatically. The practice of putting the clocks forwards in spring and backwards in autumn has been going on for centuries.
