West Coats Primary pupils raise funds for local charity through reading fundraiser

West Coats Primary School pupils have raised funds for a Rutherglen and Cambuslang charity through a reading fundraiser.The Cambuslang-based primary donated £125 to the Healthy ‘n’ Happy Community Development Trust.Organised by school staff member Leanne McKendry, bookworm pupils took part in a reading fundraiser challenge on the steps of their school, reading a book of their choice in a ‘reading river’.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
