Wendy Williams
Wendy Williams Hunter (born Wendy Joan Williams; July 18, 1964) is an American television host, businesswoman, media personality and author. Since 2008, she has hosted the nationally syndicated television talk show The Wendy Williams Show. Prior to television, Williams was a radio DJ and host and quickly became known in New York as a "shock jockette". She gained notoriety for her on-air spats with celebrities and was the subject of the 2006 VH1 reality TV series The Wendy Williams Experience which broadcast events surrounding her radio show. She was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2009.

Wendy Williams' life is being made into a movie. This month, Lifetime will begin production on a biopic about the 56-year-old talk show host's highs and lows, including landing and her tumultuous relationship with her ex, Kevin Hunter.

Darren Grant (, ) will be directing the TV movie, while Ciera Payton (, ) will play Williams and Morocco Omari () will take on the role of Hunter.

The script will be written by Leigh Davenport (, ) and Scarlett Lacey (, ).According to the movie's press release, «the authorized project provides a revealing look at Wendy’s journey, from her scrappy upstart days in urban radio to the success of her own syndicated talk show.
