Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Peaky Blinders confirms date for new season
manchestereveningnews.co.ukThe release date for the new season of Peaky Blinders has been revealed in a creative way in Birmingham. A 12.71m (41.7ft) high mural of the series' main character Tommy Shelby has been painted on the side of a building overlooking the Old Crown pub in Digbeth.
The giant painting is accompanied by the release date: "final series 27 Feb". Street artist Akse - who also painted the portrait of Marcus Rashford in Manchester last year - spent seven days painting the mural.
The upcoming series will be the first to not feature Helen McCroy as the Shelby matriarch Polly Gray - the actress tragically died of cancer in April 2021.
Speaking to Esquire magazine earlier this year, Cillian Murphy – who plays the infamous Tommy Shelby – said: “She was a dear, dear pal and she was the beating heart of that show, so it felt very strange being on set without her.” Adding: “It’s just… I still can’t believe she’s not here.
