A teenager has been left with six staples in her head after being mowed down by a motorcycle in Edinburgh. Megan Morris was shopping for a Mother's Day present on Sunday, March 22 when a red and white Honda 250 bike mounted a pavement on Hay Avenue ploughing into her and another woman.

The driver then ran off leaving his bike and two victims drenched in blood with ‘serious’ injuries. Now the traumatised 18-year-old is desperate for the "animal" who knocked her down to be pulled put behind bars.
