Touching memorial planned to honour murdered Glasgow pensioner Esther Brown

Glasgow pensioner are planning to "honour her spirit" with a memorial. Esther Brown was tragically killed at her flat in Glasgow's Woodlands on West Princes Street earlier this year.

The kind-hearted volunteer was said to have touched the lives of many during her tireless voluntary work in the community. Esther was also a founding member of the Woodlands Community Trust community garden and served on the board of trustees, as well as helping with the community cafe.Devastated members of the trust have planned a poignant tribute to the 67-year-old who they previously described as "exceptionally kind, compassionate and caring".They have launched a donation portal so people can contribute to a memorial for Esther but have not yet decided what.
