Violent youths left two McGill’s buses with smashed windows after hurling rocks at them as they drove through Paisley.The bus firm has been left with a hefty bill to repair the damage to the vehicles, which were targeted in the town’s King’s Crescent over the weekend.McGill’s has been continuously plagued by vandals across Renfrewshire, with transport bosses even threatening to pull services following thousands of pounds of damage to buses in Paisley.Police in Paisley are now investigating the most recent incident, which they have said is “unacceptable”. Inspector Laura Hamill, of Paisley’s community policing team, said officers are carrying out enquiries to catch the youths responsible.She said: “This is not the first time McGill’s buses have been subject to vandalism in Paisley.“The damage done to these buses is unacceptable, and officers are working with McGill’s and carrying out enquiries to try and put a stop to the actions of those responsible.“We would also encourage any member of the public who witnessed any of the incidents to please get in touch with us to assist us with out enquiries.”Last year, McGill’s were forced to scrap bus services through Shortroods at night after vandals caused £10,000 of damage to vehicles and put lives in danger.Bosses at the bus company pulled the 757 and 26A services from the Paisley estate following violent acts of vandalism on four buses.The company said it had been left with “no other
